Tips for Registering on this Site

  1. 1. Login.
  2. 2. Find your activities by scrolling down or using filters above.
  3. 3. Click the (+) plus sign in the “Add to Cart” column next to the ones you want. They will appear in a pop up window at the bottom of the screen.
  4. 4. Click the “Add to Cart” button at the bottom left corner of the screen when ready for checkout.
  5. 5. Follow prompts for participant information. Activities will appear in Shopping Cart. Proceed to checkout.

If an activity is marked “Unavailable”, it means that it is unavailable for online registration. Registration may not be required or you may need to register in person. Contact 919-577-3230 or pr.registration@hollyspringsnc.us for further assistance.

A class for children ages 4-6 to explore the natural world around them! Small class sizes and age appropriate experiments, activities, and games will allow children make their own discoveries while having fun! Each class will focus on a different nature topic. Toddler Exploration - 2213803

Come and enjoy some unique explorations with your toddler. This program is geared for little ones who learn through sensory stimulation activities. Touching, feeling, and shaking different items, some nature based and others just plain fun. Parents must be with their child during activities. Pre-Registration is required. Ages 15 months and up!

Bass Lake Bass Tournament - 2244101

Come try your luck in the Bass Lake Park Bass Tournament. Tournament will start at 6 am and run until 10 am. Cost will be $75 per boat that will hold up to 2 people. This is an 8 boat tournament with up to 16 people total. Only one participant must register per team to reserve boat and spot. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for total weight of fish. To register you must come to Bass Lake Park and see Steve McElhaney since there will only be 8 spots for the tournament. No registrations will be done within 3 days of tournament start date. Must have at least one person 16 or older in boat if participant is under 16! REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE AT BASS LAKE PARK!

Group Nature Programs - 2263804

Bass Lake Park is pleased to offer interactive group nature and environmental education programs for all ages. Programs are offered at Bass Lake Park or at your site. Most programs are one hour. Group size is limited to 30, or 20 for Pre-K. School aged groups visiting the park must have one chaperone per six children. Hunter Education Workshop - 2264509

Hunter Safety Education Course through the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. The Hunter Education Course includes information about hunter responsibility, wildlife conservation and management, firearms, wildlife identification, survival and first aid, specialty hunting, and tree stand safety. The course is a minimum of 10 hours and is accepted in every state and province in North America. All first time license buyers must successfully complete a hunter education course before they can hunt in North Carolina or purchase a hunting license. There is no minimum age requirement to take the course. Hours of class are 9am-5pm on Saturday FREE! Registration online at ncwildlife.org.
